“Vibrate The Cosmos And The Cosmos Shall Clear The Path” (Yogi Bhajan)

Today you may be at a crossroad in your life and seeking guidance.

The problem is, the more you aim for clarity, the more you use your linear mind and at times over-analyze everything. The results are greater confusion, more doubts, and worries.

My invitation to you is to look at any situation that you are in from a different perspective.

Instead of engaging your analytical mind, pay attention to your attention. Choose where and what you decide to focus on.

Instead of focusing on your problem, “Vibrate The Cosmos,” stay open and receptive; don’t go anywhere, don’t solve anything; receive and experience any problem throughout your whole body. Stay curious and tune in, be sensitive to your whole being. Surrender, let the cosmos in, let anything in, drop your walls and create intimacy with your environment.

When this happens, everything flows. At that moment you are not pushing, using your will or forcing an outcome, you are open and willing to learn.

To create this drastic shift, start practicing with elements of nature. Experience in your whole body, a tree, a plant, a flower, a cloud, invite them, be curious and sensitive to their essence …practice every day and then you may develop your ability to dance with the cosmos.

Are you ready to create more flow in your life?

With much love,

The Best Medicine On Earth

I know… most of you would say that the best medicine on earth is Love. In many ways I support this statement: when one lives in the heart center there is a level of stillness awareness and presence that create a wonderful foundation for healing. Yet too often love is often confused with emotions, attachments and or loving something or someone …and so I have decided to look at something else…your breath.

When you are short of wisdom, breathe.” Guru Nanak

We have a tendency to breathe between 16 and 20 times a minute with a shallow breath that does not give enough oxygen to the blood. A sweet tooth comes from a lack of oxygen in the brain. Lots of diseases are created and enhanced with shallow breathing. If you breathe eight times a minute you will become calmer. If you breathe four times a minute you are more aware, more intuitive and more in tune with the cosmic intelligence. You can go with the infinite flow instead of constantly fighting or worrying.

Your breath is directly connected to how you think and how you feel. A negative thought or action will make you breathe three times faster.

The way you attract people, the way you manifest is directly connected to your Aura, which is greatly impacted by the quality of your breath. In brief, your radiance depends on your breath.

Your intelligence has nothing to do with how many brain cells or degrees you have; your intelligence is based on the capacity of your breath. Choose to practice conscious breathing every day; it will transform everything within you and around you.

The following is a breath you can practice at least three minutes a day:

  1. Seated on a chair or in an easy pose on the floor.
  2. Eventually, close your eyes and focus on your third eye.
  3. Put each hand in Gyan Mudra (index and thumb together) on your knee.
  4. Inhale through the nose, hold the breath in and as you hold the breath in mentally vibrate the mantra three times: “I am light, I am I am.”
  5. Exhale through the nose, hold the breath out and as you hold the breath out repeat the same mantra in your head three times.
  6. End with a deep breath in, hold the breath in and apply Root Lock (squeeze sex organ, rectum, and navel) to seal and integrate the benefits of your breath.
    Relax.

Much love to all,

How Do You Bounce Back In Your Life?

As I am looking at my own life, the lives of my clients and the on going tragedies that are happening in this world, I am asking the following question…How do we bounce back from a physical illness, the loss of a loved one, the destruction of a home, a complete lack of meaning in life or a sense of deep isolation? What are our options?

One of the most potent medicines in bouncing back is to create meaningful connections. You may or may not know how to create authentic relationships, how to ask for help, how to be real in your deepest places of despair, or how to trust the people around you…. Regardless, reaching out is certainly a key element in finding yourself again.

There is another component that I would like to emphasize today; I call it the Art of Falling.  In order to bounce back you need to know how to fall. If you are too rigid when you fall you will hurt yourself; if you don’t let go you will break parts of your body. You need to allow yourself to touch the bottom; like playing on a trampoline you can ‘t bounce back if you don’t touch the bottom.

When you really fall you are able to experience a sacred space where the swirl of emotions does not overwhelm you anymore; you become stable and lucid, there is nothing more to loose.

The mind does not know how to fall; the mind wants to be safe. The heart knows how to fall simply because the heart is not driven by fear or the future. The mind on its own has a distorted relationship with pain…either it runs away from it or it is addicted to it.

How deeply can you let yourself fall? How deeply can you feel your own pain, despair, anxiety or loss? If you go deep your will heal yourself and the pain will shift to a more spacious and sacred experience.

What do you do to avoid falling? Do you make yourself busier? Do you abuse your body? Do you blame your circumstances? What do you do? Learn to fall if you want to bounce back. Learn to fall if you want to grow and experience peace in your life.

With much love and gratitude for being part of my life, I wish you a great holidays season.

I Got My Answer

One of my beautiful true friends, Catherine, is a comic and mother of three. She has been diagnosed with LAM lung disease; a rare form of cancer in the lungs that they have not yet found a cure for.

In 2006, she was given 5 to 10 years to live and she is now more vibrant than ever. Her life force and heart are priceless and her humor is contagious. She has been able to raise 2 million dollars and attract some top-notch scientists to find a cure for this disease. She touches so many with compassion and great laughter that you can only do one thing when you are in her presence…open your heart and laugh really loud.

Here is a newly documentary about Catherine and her website if you would like to make a donation. Please watch it! You will be inspired!

Why am I talking about Catherine’s journey? In many ways Cat helps me to answer that question that has became louder for the past couple of months. How do I show up in this world? What do I stand for? What do I fight for?

I got my answer…I simply need to connect to my gifts and uplift moment to moment. That is where I heal others and myself; that is where I keep my inner light going.

If we listen to the Yogis, the heart’s projection has a 60-degree angle. By nature the heart uplifts.

Uplifting has nothing to do with motivating; there is no agenda to make the other person feel better or have more energy. Each time you expect an outcome you are not in the heart center you are in your will, convincing, forcing and pushing.

Uplifting is not about ignoring what does not work either. You still commit to glow no matter what. If you embrace that quality, every cause you stand up for will not eat you up. More than ever before we all need to glow.

How do you uplift in your day-to-day life?

With much love

My Theme For This Year

As I was cleaning my files during the holiday season I found a piece of paper with this quote on it: “Everything is possible in your life if you approach it with humility.” I have no idea you wrote this; regardless, I started to ponder…

As a child the way I understood humility was: “be less, be small, be invisible”. The focus was on the ego; make it as small as possible. Later in my life I realized that humility is not about asking the ego to be small but is relying on the heart to be big. And moment-to-moment we have to choose what we say yes to: is it our heart or our ego?

The path of humility may not be the easiest one but the other one carries way too much suffering. We did not come on earth to win; we came on earth to heal. When humility is at the center of your life you are at peace with learning the same thing over and over.

Humility keeps us on our toes…there is no falling asleep…everything needs intention and attention …our health, our relationships, our hobbies, our work…

This year I choose to celebrate as much as I can with the quality of humility at the center. In this context, it is not about how great I am but how blessed I am.

Now what about you? What is your theme for this new year?

With much love,

Tejpal

Be The Light House

As we are approaching a new year my true wish is that you let go of setting goals for yourself. Bury that concept, burn it, dance around the fire …whatever speaks to you but once for all…drop it. When you set goals you simply limit who you are because you rely too much on your linear mind and your will. I personally don’t recall that reaching any of my goals made me happier; I always had a next goal in mind…

We are not linear beings we are spiritual beings. Our focus is to increase our vitality. More than ever before we need our vibration to be strong as we are constantly reminded of the political, economical and ecological chaos in our lives. We can pretend to ignore it but because everything is a vibration we still are impacted.

If you want more vitality keep it true. Stay connected with your wholeness, that means your light and your shadow. If you are running away from your darkness you will not experience your spiritual dimension you will not be vibrant. Stay human.

In this period that the Yogis have called “The Grey Period”, we can fall into our reactive patterns and be stressed or we can stand up in our light and be vibrant no matter what. More than ever before we need each others’ light. Yogi Bhajan used to say “Be the Light House”.

Happy holiday season.

With much love

“The Truth”

truth“We can do no great things; only small things with great love.”
Mother Theresa

Many generations, countries, families and organizations have fought for what they consider “the truth” in life. Under the name of truth, it has been acceptable to kill, reject, punish or abuse in many styles. But really the truth at the end of the day is just an opinion that you are holding onto really tight. What is true for you one day may not be true for you later in the year.

The day we choose to release the truth as the way to be, then becomes the day we start to practice humility…perhaps one of the most beautiful qualities one human being can experience.

Humility is the art of letting go and letting the ego go. As a healer I have been working for over 20 years helping people who are going through a diverse range of pain: cancer, leukemia, back pain, heart break, spiritual pain, etc. Even if I have a passionate style of working and sharing what I receive, I know what I don’t know. I know that the healing process is so complex that I cannot even pretend that I have “the answer”. Yet like all of us I need to practice humility.

Humility does not mean making yourself smaller. In fact, we came on earth to shine, share our gifts and that takes courage, patience and humility.

Humility means staying present and curious to your own experience.

How can we practice humility?

Start with setting back instead of jumping into conclusions and assumptions. Become aware of your inner experience throughout your whole body. Every day for three minutes close your eyes and do a body scan, a check in; give a voice to your sensations, emotions and flows of energy instead of your opinions. You will appreciate your wisdom knowing that the most important thing in life is not to understand each other but to experience each other.

With love,

Tejpal

Never Leave Home…

heartlive

If you want to experience the best adventure of your life, never leave home.

Living an adventurous life is not automatically about traveling, meeting new people or doing new things. Perhaps the most adventurous way of living is about finding home and staying home.

Where is home and what is home for you?

We know it may not have anything to do with your biological history. But really what feels like home? And what are the qualities that you want to experience when you are at home?

If I had to choose three, I would pick: Nourishment, Peace and Beauty. And each time I compromise any of these three qualities in my daily life, I compromise myself.

When these three are in place I can relax experience simplicity and gratefulness.

Choose three qualities that feel like coming home for you and from there, decide day by day what do you need to create to match these three vibrations. As soon as you feel at home you are dropping into the heart center where everything unfolds. From that place you can see, feel, intuit and manifest what you truly desire. Your heart is your foundation for everything in life but you have to be willing to stay still at home and experience yourself.

To enhance your ability to stay at home, I invite you to do the mirror meditation. It will help you shift from your head to your heart.

Simply sit in front of a mirror and look at yourself for 3 to 5 minutes. Do it every day for 40 days in a row. The mirror can be a hand-held mirror. Stay present to your relationship with you. You may first focus on your flaws, then you may get bored with yourself, then you may focus on what you like about you. Eventually, you will connect to you, you will be in love with you, you will be still where there is nothing to like or dislike about who you are.

As you are practicing true love, you will be at home wherever you go and really create the best life ever.

40 Days Meditation For The Holidays and Transitioning Into the New Year

meditations for the holiday

When I was little, I always had mix feelings about the Holiday Season. I was excited about the “stuff” I was going to get and at the same time so disappointed about the lack of connection, the lack of love. I felt empty, meaningless and was reminded of this constant existential pain I was born with.

In my teens, at this time of the year, I was dragging my feet shutting down and watching the family scene holding lots of judgments. In my twenties, I chose to simply dismiss myself from most family gatherings and was then taking the time for personal self-care such as reading, painting and playing music. In my thirties, I moved to the USA and was surprised by the length of the holiday season starting with the famous Thanksgiving. I learned one year at a time to relax a little more during that period of celebration and embrace it. I also chose to share my gifts as a teacher and a healer. Every year, I love to work part of Thanksgiving day to stay center.

My wish for the Holidays is that all of us can stay true to we you are. We are born with a lineage and a destiny and I do believe that if we take care of our destiny first our lineage will be taking care off. Open yourself to new ways of celebrating, mix traditions and create new rituals that help your heart to heal and open.

I have chosen a healing meditation easy for everyone to do. Your child or your grandmother can do it. Share this gift with many. Meditation is an act of self-love. In this time of chaos, your soul is your biggest ally. No one can kill your soul; no one can threaten your soul.

Crisis Kit For The Holiday Season

Holiday Season

“You have the right to create harmony and you have the right to create crisis, nobody creates them for you. (…) There is just one way to get out, and that is to grow.” YBJ

Emergency Kits are usually used when you are in some form of crisis. And when you are, you may experience the following with your kit: some products are obsolete, you don’t know how to use them and you don’t have what you need in it. In brief, you have not prepared yourself for challenging situations.

In school, nobody taught you how to fail; everybody wanted you to succeed whatever that meant. When you focus on making the right decision you put lots of pressure on yourself and build up an ideal image of who you think you should be. Your ego is now running your life and you learn absolutely nothing.

The only place we can learn from is the heart. The only place we can grow from is the heart. Making the so-called wrong decision, getting an undesirable outcome, or experiencing deep pain are situations we all face. In life the most important aspect is not making the right decision but instead mastering bouncing back.

The holiday season always brings a myriad of emotions in each of us. Depending on your history you may experience more joy than pain and yet if you are really connected to yourself some memories will make you smile and some will make you cry. There will be hope, disappointment, gratefulness, excitement, pure joy and deep sadness. If we choose to welcome the diversity of our experience without getting locked into one them we are fine.

During this time of connection and reconnection with others choose also to enhance a reconnection with yourself. Enjoy the adventure of you.

To support you in this process I am giving you a special meditation:

Create Miracles In Your Life

MiraclesAs I am on my way to experience the well renowned healer “John of God” in Brazil, I have taken quite some time clarifying the true intent of this coming trip. John of God is well known for the miracle healings many have received in his presence and so… I wonder …what is a miracle? What does it take to create miracles in life?

It takes the ability to surrender. When we surrender we are engaged, we are not passive. We are co creating with this vast universe and beyond. When we surrender we choose to drop our fixed images of what we want; we give a voice to our desires and yet we are willing to be spacious, not attached to an end results.

This month, be curious about your desires and be curious about your expectations.

Are your desires coming from a place of fear or from your essence? For example, do you want to be in a relationship because you are afraid of being alone or because you want to learn to live more in the heart?

With each desire, notice some of your attachments and realize how they prevent you from creating your miracles. Write down your attachments every day, 3-5 minutes a day to give yourself a chance to co create miracles.

Do you want to develop your ability to create miracles in your life?

From Suffering to Renewing

Reinventing Relationships: Five Dimensions To Focus On

For many years I have been addicted to pain one way or another. In the womb of my mother I recall myself saying: “It is not going to be easy”. It ended up being pretty accurate as my childhood was a blend of sexual abuse and lies from my father’s side, mixed with severe depression and an ongoing attachment from my mother’s side to die.

Nevertheless there were also good elements; both my parents had artistic talents, boys and girls were treated the same and physical health (nutrition and physical activities) were always a priority. Having said that, love was simply not there.

For years in many of my relationships I was choosing my partners based on their pain instead of their essence.

During the first 33 years of my life I thought I would either commit suicide or end up in a psychiatric hospital. At work I was always taking on the most challenging responsibilities; I did not know the word ease.

It took me a while to allow myself to be free of pain and shine in the world.

As I have given coaching and healing sessions for the past 30 years to thousand of people all over the world, I know that pain is where magic can occur. The magic of transformation and healing is not about avoiding pain, it is about creating a new relationship with pain.

Come join me, Thursday August 6th at 6pm. Together we will learn and practice six different approaches to help you change your relationship with pain and gain tremendous insights for a renewed Self.

If you cannot make it, the session will be recorded.

How Do You Relate To Pain?

876467-modern-art--a-pattern-of-shapes-and-colors-resembling-contemporary-artI was reading a book this weekend about a friend of mine Janice, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2010. Today she is still active touching so many yet experiencing a new chemo treatment. I witness her beautiful and relentless spirit, her untouchable focus and ability to be so grateful day after day.

I also have two of my clients Carolyn and Laura going through major diseases; both have the same ability to celebrate in their unique style any victory they have.

These three women have mastered their relationship with pain. Janice has a foundation and she teaches; uplifting so many and bringing awareness about cancer prevention. Carolyn who is still in the early stages of treatment for Leukemia is at the hospital and blogs. Her insights about surrendering and being a spiritual warrior are priceless. Laura is experiencing multiple forms of cancer and is too weak these days to do much of anything but she focuses on gratefulness with so much depth. These three women rely on two things: their heart and their spirit.

Most of us when we go through any pain we go into more fear, worries, anxiety and we jump into the future saying to ourselves: “When is it going to end?” As I am doing some renovation in my house and experiencing an on going mess, I have asked that question more than once. When I went through a break up last October I wondered many times when the pain will end.

Our pain always gives us an opportunity to grow. We can pretend there is no pain and find a way to numb it. We can be busier, drink a little more, jump into a new relationship, or collapse and be depressed. Quite frankly there are many more options.

We can blame or we can learn. We can ignore it or we can grow through it. When you master how you relate to your pain you deepen your experience with joy. Choose to drop your thinking, step back from your emotions and go into the heart.
The heart is the only place that will teach you how to be still and present when you are in pain.

When you are worrying about your future you are not in the heart. As Janice was saying in her book*, “NOW spelled backwards is WON…if you stay in the now, you’ve won the day”.

When you are obsessing on how to get rid of your pain you are not in the heart, you are in your head. Your pain is not a problem to be fixed but a part of you to be explored.

Join me August 6th , at 6 pm Pacific. I will lead a virtual healing circle to help you experience the wisdom of your heart.

For an hour you will:
Learn three specific meditations to help you be in the heart
Experience healing processes to feel peace and release any agitations coming from your mind
– Understand your unique style and discover specific ways to embrace your pain and get insights

This is a time for transformation!

Join me August 6th at 6PM Pacific. Together our healing power is stronger. If you cannot make the call, this session is recorded.

Ovarian Cancer*Janice M. Coggins, MSW

You can NOT be serious!”

Reinventing Your Relationship With Forgiveness

HealingCircleEvery change you truly desire starts at the heart center. Your will or your mindset may be useful to support any transition you want to create in your life, but without the heart energy the changes you are making will feel stressful or will not last.

There are two important practices that enhance the energy of the heart: gratefulness and forgiveness. All of us can gain to deepen our relationship with both. When we experience our heart energy, we live in the present and are open to receive intuitive guidance.

Over the past 25 years I have witnessed with my clients a lot of pain, struggle and confusion around the theme of forgiveness. I often notice a genuine desire to forgive and yet the feelings of resentment, anger and confusion are still present. We know that when we truly forgive we feel free, spacious and ready to reinvent our lives.

In virtual healing circles:

  • We will practice several meditations to expand the energy of the heart
  • You will learn the 3 stages toward true forgiveness
  • I will work with you, (during our Q&A), and share insights and healing to support you on your journey

Let’s create a beautiful time and bring our energy together for healing.

Rejoice and Renew

Rejoyce and RenewAs we enter into a new year, we enter into a new frequency of energy. We have the opportunity to open up to a new level of awareness where we can see our patterns and experience our Self from a new perspective. A new frequency of energy gives us the opportunity to expand and reach new levels of joy.

This renewed self-expression requires healing. Without healing you will go into la-la land, driven by your stories and ungrounded.

What are you choosing to heal at this time? What part of you are you choosing to hold in stillness? How can you connect to the divine self within you? How can you stay connected to your true essence? How can you hold your duality, your fears, your hope and your despairs without trying to solve them or fix them? How can you trust the healing power of your soul energy?

When we choose the path of healing we choose radical truth.

If you are truly interested in self-renewal then start there. Remember that who you are is energy and simply be willing to look at your behavioral patterns. Do not go sideways into any context and or why you acted this way or that way. Look at you, your actions your reactions and your communication.

  1. What do I wish people knew about me?
  2. What do I wish people never discovered about me?
  3. What are my recurrent ways of acting (my patterns)?
  4. What are the fears and/or the needs that are driving my behavior?

My suggestion is to work with someone who can hold you with love and clarity. When you surrender to that level of truth then you will create joyful breakthrough in your life.

Rejoice and renew! Schedule a free 15 minutes discovery session with me!
