Convenient is a quality that is important and appreciated in our culture. When this becomes our primary criteria for any decision-making, our values opinions, and lifestyle may change just because it is convenient. At that moment, we have lost our inner strength and our human spirit.
Part of our medicine is based on this principle; as soon as there is pain let’s fix it without much exploration. Too much of our medicine is focused only on life. If you read the origin of Chinese Medicine or Ayurvedic Medicine, health is a complete lifestyle that embraces life and death. Health is personal and cosmic at the same time. Health is our responsibility, breath by breath, as our role is to experience tranquility, regardless of the outside chaos. In these traditions, if you want to be healthy, you need to nourish your destiny so that you are in alignment with the universe. Health is about your joy factor, an important foundation for the physical body to function.
We have a tendency to believe that focusing on our destiny is a luxury. Every time we get sick physically, we listen to our thinking and wonder when we will feel better. We have forgotten to listen to our body and allow ourselves to shift to a new paradigm for healing.
When we are emotionally self-centered, ignoring the consequences of the decisions we make, we become dull with a great lack of intelligence. Every time we focus on our emotional needs only, there is no room for intelligence and human values. It is time for everyone to truly remember what heath means, aligning with everything so that you can reach new levels of understanding, and not get caught in your emotional misery or delusion. Pause for a moment and assess your life, where did you fall into conveniency? (Assess your space, your eating habits, your thought patterns, etc.)
What needs to change?
