In the transformation process, there is always a time when we experience resistance. Our resistance often is mental, (“it is not the right time”, “the environment will not be supportive”, “it is too risky”, “I need more if a guaranty”, etc.), or emotional (“I am too afraid”, “I have too much anxiety about it”, “I can’t handle it”, etc.).
Sometimes, we are stuck in our resistance and our fears run our lives. Imagine for a moment fear not being present within you. What would happen?
Do the following journaling exercise for the next two weeks every morning:
If fear was not part of my life, yet leaving responsively…
- How would I communicate?
- What activities would I choose to pursue?
- Who would I reach out to?
- What would I like to learn?
