Silence

Silence is not necessarily quiet. Silence does not always bring stillness or peace. Silence can hold many qualities: it can support our centering and healing; or it can contain resentment, anger, or depression.

The practice of silence is a wonderful practice if it comes from a place of love. If the heart is open, we can train the mind to focus on space, rhythms, and nothingness. Silence then does not contain us but expands us. We can now experience ourselves as space or as a vast container. From there, our relationship with time and outcomes shifts drastically. Every time we choose love, we choose personal transformation: love is alchemical. In this context, we are truly losing our minds and that is a good thing.

If your silence is not filled with love for self or others, listen deeper to the voices that need to be heard. When the quality of love comes into every space, life is truly an adventure.
