Morning Practice

Morning practices can be daunting, boring, or perceived as too time-consuming, depending on how you are wired and your level of energy, yet, the constant turmoil we live in requires a morning check-in if we don’t want to live in survival mode all day long.

Your survival patterns may be well accepted in our society: you may be an overachiever and you don’t know how to rest; you may have your daily happy hour; or you may fall asleep every night in front of a screen, to name a few. In the time we live, it is imperative to stay awake. The following practice is a simple journaling exercise with which to start your day.

As you get up in the morning, what are you saying “yes” to? Can you journal about this question every day for a month? If you choose to do this practice, don’t will it, don’t force it, explore it. There is nothing to achieve; we are going nowhere and yet nowhere can be a great adventure.

Schedule your one-on-one transformational phone session with me today. I’m offering a 25-minute or 50-minute session. Let’s see what we can do!
