Mind Like Light

When the mind is not trained, it is loud, reactive, unstable, unsatisfied, unable to commit to anything, and attached to everything. When the mind is not trained it takes over our life and dissects, compartmentalizes, judges, obsesses, or grabs; it takes us on a journey of suffering.

There are many ways to train the mind. One way is to make the mind luminous. To do this, close your eyes for a moment relax your breath and replace your mind with light. When your mind becomes light, you look at your surrounding with a different energy. From there, your relationship with everything changes.

When our mind becomes light there is no drama, no stories, or history. There is no sense of duality, yet we are not living in fusion with everything. We still have our unique sense of self, yet we don’t feel separated or isolated; we are no more or less, we simply can be.
