Beyond Suffering

An untrained mind expresses itself through addictive patterns. An untrained mind gets attached to things, situations, or people and creates an ongoing loop.

The economic paradigm we live in constantly enhances the addictive aspect of our minds: we want more of this, we want this new experience, and so forth. The economic model we live in thrives on an untrained mind. From that place our happiness becomes conditional.

When you are caught in these patterns, it is very hard or impossible to rest or relax. Simply spending time with yourself without distraction is painful. Your mind will find something to worry about or something to overcome.

Some of you are waiting until the first of the year to stop some of your addictive patterns.  As you know, this approach will last a couple of weeks or at most a few months. What if, instead of using your will to change these patterns, you decide to access the wisdom of your heart? What if, instead of controlling your mind’s patterns you discover and connect to your authentic self and your true purpose?

Schedule your one-on-one transformational phone session with me today. I’m offering 25-minute or 50-minute sessions. Let’s see what we can do!

Join me and my friend Shari, Feb 18th-20th at Miraval for a workshop called “The Heart of Being”. You will learn to heal your mind and open your heart.
