Wisdom does not have anything to do with knowledge. Knowledge becomes obsolete, wisdom is infinite. Most spiritual practices are born out of wisdom: they are eternal, and they transform us.

Wisdom has to do with the capacity to listen and trust. If we listen beyond what we know, what we understand or agree with, we are truly listening. Only then a deeper part of us can open.

When we choose to reconnect to our true self we have access to our wisdom. Our true self is not our ego, or what we want to project in the world. When we connect to our true self, there is a sense of calm and contentment.

Wisdom is not given to us it requires daily practice. When we hold an attitude of curiosity and develop the capacity to embrace our light and our shadow without being attached to one particular aspect, we connect to our wisdom. From there, everything is eternal and ephemerous, our experience of time changes and we can be in the present where clarity and simplicity live.
