When we experience feeling stuck, it often means we are resisting the situation we are in, and we are wishing to be somewhere else. Beneath that feeling, there is usually a “no” inside us fueled by expectations, unforgiveness (toward ourselves or others), fear, and many other hidden emotions.
Healthy energy moves. Yet the mind, if it dissociates from the body, can become attached to how things should be. When life seems to be holding up a stop sign, our first step is not to force movement, but to listen through our senses.
We do not become unstuck through pure rational thinking; we are not problems to be solved. Can we listen to our emotional self, our hopes, fears, and beliefs? If we choose to, we may discover old wounds still blocking our life force.
Our whole system needs to feel safe before it can relax, vibrate, and find its own natural momentum. Until safety is restored, little truly shifts. What creates safety is rarely rational. If we dismiss our fragility and vulnerability, we risk wounding ourselves further and deepening the sense of being stuck.
Consider being stuck as an opportunity to pause, explore and discover parts of yourselves you may have dismissed or ignored.
We are never done on our spiritual journey.
