Sadness

Sadness is a subtle emotion not well recognized in our culture as anger, anxiety, and hopelessness seem to be preeminent.

Every time we allow ourselves to experience an emotion, we open the door to personal transformation: the unique vibrational quality of each emotion brings a new configuration in our whole system.

Sadness is a quiet emotion. When we allow ourselves to go deep with it, there is nothing to rub against as the mind does not overpower sadness. We experience the softening of the heart. At that moment there is nothing to do, nothing to figure out, or nothing to get rid of. Our mind will try to hijack this feeling by wanting to feel something else or it will want to have a reason for our sadness. Our mind has not been trained to feel. If we teach our minds to stay curious instead of analyzing, the transformation from within happens.
