Redefining Spirituality

The path of spirituality is the path of oneness: we learn to love both what we like and what we don’t like about who we are. We learn to embrace our limitations and misalignments. We learn to stay with ourselves and integrate all the parts of us.

When spirituality is exclusively promoted as opening your third eye- and developing your intuitive self, chances are your mind will get attracted by what seems to be “a special power”. Without having done much personal work, opening the third eye is opening the door to phantasy, voyeurism, and any other forms of non-spiritual distraction.

The world of spirituality is not necessarily shiny; it is a life commitment that requires humility, consistency, and the courage to heal our deepest wounds and fears to experience inner peace. We can learn to be at ease with anything, including discomfort. We may or may not have intuition, but that does not define our connection to our spirituality.

Let’s start within.

With much love,
Tejpal
