When we listen with our minds, we are not listening. When we listen with our ears only, we are not listening. We need to listen to our senses first, then our hearts. Our mind is here to create a link with all our experiences; our mind needs to stay in the background, following the patterns of the heart; our mind needs to learn to be a host, not the honored guest.
As soon as we focus on understanding something with our minds, we are not listening. Listening is a physical, emotional, and heart experience first. If we stay in our heads, we will tend to become quickly opinionated, not fully grounded, and not present.
If listening to a person becomes too challenging, we may start learning to listen to a plant, a tree, a cloud, or an animal. Take advantage of the wisdom of your multidimensional body; you will feel more spacious inside. From there, we become less reactive, more centered, and more connected with everything.
With much love,
