Our mind and emotions have a tendency to run our lives; and today, with all that is happening, this does not work anymore. We need to rewire our entire system not to survive – but to live; not to wait until things will go back to normal – but to surrender enough to flex, adapt, and embrace what is.
It takes fear to survive, it takes courage to live. It takes fear to wait and hope things will change, it takes courage to stay open to change
Emotional wellness is the ability to dissolve the ego; to surrender over and over our beliefs of what should be or should happen.
We are faced with a simple question: can we learn? Can we remember that in order to learn we need to let go of who we are and what we know? Can we remember that in order to learn we need to practice dying over and over? Every spiritual practice, at the core of their teaching, includes the practice of dying, the practice of letting go.
When we accept dying over and over, we open the door to love. In the space of love, we commit to being sensitive and aware of our situation and our environment; we commit to staying in conversation even in silence. At the core of love, there is death, the art of surrendering, releasing, and growing.
Without surrender there is no emotional wellness, without death there is no emotional wellness; Keep releasing and relaxing.
