Values are part of our identity. Without clear values, our decision-making process becomes reactive and erratic. To realize what our values are, let’s look at how we define success, happiness, health, and aging, to name a few.
Values are meant to be expressed and revisited over and over. If not, we are propelled into wish land, which prevents our capacity to stay awake. Â Acting according to our values requires an honest inventory of self and eventually asks of us for some changes in our lifestyle. They are worth doing if we want to stay healthy, stable, and aware.Â
Values give us courage, resilience, and the capacity to go beyond any perceived limitations.
Values are meant to open the heart.
Without values, there is no foundation for communities and civilization. Without values, we live with ongoing destruction and unpredictability.
Values are an energetic container for our mind; they give us steadiness and discernment. They are also the roots of our core essence. Let’s remember who we truly are, be authentic to our true nature, and not become Genetically Modified Organisms.
