What if you could wake up every morning with one simple question: What is my offering today? Allowing this exploration to guide our day could shift the quality of our mind and ultimately, the quality of our life.
We did not come to Earth to accumulate we came to share and cultivate an attitude of offering.
Preparing for what might happen, anticipating difficulties, and attempting to protect ourselves from the uncertainties of life does not need to be dismissed yet it cannot be our ultimate focus. When security becomes the center of our existence, we may discover that no amount of preparation can ever make us feel completely safe. Security does not come from controlling our circumstances but from transforming our relationship with uncertainty.
When we constantly focus on what could go wrong, our mind gradually loses its capacity to see clearly. We become more concerned with protecting ourselves than with experiencing life. Instead of continually asking, what can I secure, protect or accumulate? Why not asking: What can I offer?
An attitude of offering strengthens us. It opens the heart, softens the mind, and begins to clear the patterns that keep us contracted and guarded. There are countless ways to offer our devotion to people, animals, nature, and our communities. When we remember that offering is already part of our true nature, we begin to shift. We become more open, present, and alive.
